Okay so I have lots of choices. You don't have to read them ALL. But please have a decent read of the Jenkins and Postman chapters, skim the first part of the chapter for No Sense Of Place (it's ridic long, and I actually like you people, I don't want to kill you all by reading-death.)
Also please read the Blogosphere chapter -- it really fits in with blogging as a sharing/political tool.
There are also two short articles which are kinda fun and interesting. One of them even mentions Dick Cheney! Everyone likes a murderer!
Please keep in mind future repercussions of these things and what we may learn from them through extension; how they can apply to one another, and how they may (or may not) apply to communication on the campaign trail
